As our Night Manager, you'll be the driving force behind the hotel during the night, ensuring seamless operations, exceptional guest service, and a safe and welcoming environment for both guests and team members.
What you'll be doing as a Night Manager:
- Lead the overnight operation of the hotel and act as the senior manager on duty during the night.
- Ensure an exceptional guest experience by handling requests, feedback, and escalated issues with confidence and professionalism.
- Support and guide the Night Team, leading by example and fostering a positive service culture.
- Oversee night audit procedures, operational reporting, cash controls, and shift handovers.
- Work closely with all hotel departments to ensure smooth communication and operational continuity.
- Monitor hotel safety, security, and compliance, responding effectively to incidents and emergencies when required.
- Identify opportunities to improve service standards, efficiency, and guest satisfaction.
- Contribute as an active member of the hotel's management team while delivering a personalised and memorable guest experience.
What we're looking for:
- Previous experience as a Night Manager, Assistant Night Manager, or Front Office leader within hospitality.
- A confident decision-maker who is comfortable managing a hotel operation independently overnight.
- Strong knowledge of Front Office operations, guest service, and night audit procedures.
- Proven ability to lead teams, resolve guest issues, and remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
- A hands-on and proactive leadership style with a passion for hospitality.
- Experience with hotel management systems and operational reporting.
- Previous experience in a lifestyle, boutique, or upscale hotel environment is a plus.
