Meetings and Events Operations Manager - Park Plaza Westminster Bridge

 

Park Plaza Westminster Bridge is a leading Meetings and Events Hotel (32 conference, event and meeting rooms, including the Westminster Ballroom for up to 1,400 delegates, theatre style) in the heart of Central London.

The role of the Meetings & Events Operations Manager is to oversee the day to day delivery and performance of a large-scale, high-volume Meetings & Events operation.

Reporting into senior leadership, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless execution of events, balancing hands-on delivery with proactive initiatives to drive operational performance and guest experience. 

 

Operational responsibilities:

  • Support the end to end delivery of the Meetings & Events operation in a complex, high volume environment
  • Oversee the setup and execution of events, ensuring rooms are arranged to precise client specifications (AV, staging, seating, décor)
  • Lead event day operations, coordinating banquet, AV, and service teams to deliver seamless execution from setup to breakdown
  • Manage event logistics and service flow, including timings, transitions, and alignment across operational teams
  • Ensure all event spaces are maintained, clean, and ready for service, with efficient turnaround between events
  • Act as the on-site operational point of contact for clients, managing real-time requests and ensuring a high level of satisfaction
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth and aligned delivery across all departments

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple events and priorities in a fast paced environment
  • Confident communicator with the ability to build relationships with clients, stakeholders, and operational teams
  • Hands on approach with a proactive, solutions focused mindset

Education, Experience & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience within Meetings & Events operations, hospitality, or a similar high-volume environment
  • Experience managing conference and event delivery in complex venues
  • Background in leading operational teams and supporting service excellence
  • Exposure to financial processes such as cost control and productivity management
  • Hospitality, events or business-related qualifications are advantageous
