Assistant Meetings & Events Operations Manager – art’otel Hoxton

As we embark on the second phase of this exciting hotel opening, we now seek an Assistant Meetings & Events Manager to help us bring our stunning 24th floor event venue to life. Long revered as London’s effortlessly cool cultural core, Hoxton’s hip new resident has hit the scene. The 26-floor art’otel Hoxton has a dazzling skyline view, ample gallery space and Banksy originals preserved and on public display. With 357 guest bedrooms and suites, 10 Meetings and Events spaces, auditorium, a lounge, gym and our destination restaurant The Brush.

Our meetings & events spaces have 360 degree skyline views of London on the 24th floor with the capacity to host party nights, private dinners, cocktail sessions and more for up to 300 guests! Alongside a 60 seater Auditorium, Art Gallery, Creative Rooms and a Restaurant and Bar. 

As our Assistant Meetings & Events Operations Manager you will receive:

  • Two wellness days per year, meaning all team members start with 30 days of holiday per year (pro rata) - these increase with service!

As a Master of your Craft, you will…

  • Streamline the operations of ten diverse event rooms, hosting a mix of corporate and leisure meetings, banquets, drinks receptions and plenty of different parties.
  • Oversee our inventory and collaborate with the team to make sure our event spaces are well-stocked and versatile, all within budget every time.
  • Proactively seek feedback from clients to gather the info you need to continuously enhance our events experience.
  • Take care of client enquiries, requests and complains promptly and in a professional, on-brand way. 
  • Create a positive, enthusiastic and collaborative work environment, bringing your colleagues together into one great team.
  • Stay up to date on industry standards, offering ongoing training and development to team members to make sure we’re aligned with them.
  • Lead by example, showing your team how to demonstrate professionalism and a commitment to excellence in every aspect of your role.
  • Take your cues from the guidance and instructions given by your M&E Operations Manager as well as the leadership team.
