Sales & Events Executive - art'otel Rome

What is expected of you as a Sales & Events Executive:
• You’ll handle all M&E enquiries, responding to prospective clients quickly and efficiently, and converting them into confirmed bookings.
• You’ll prepare and send quotes to potential clients based on the guidelines provided by our Revenue & Pricing Manager.
• You’ll issue contracts and deposit requests for confirmed business.
• You’ll use your negotiation skills, sound judgment, and creative sales approach to close business, negotiate contracts, and identify upselling opportunities—ensuring we meet our M&E targets while staying within budget.
• You’ll work collaboratively with our M&E operations and kitchen teams to make sure event delivery is smooth.
• You’ll produce clear and accurate BEOs, attending weekly BEO meetings and handing over to the team in charge on the day. You’ll also be present to the events if needed.
• You’ll support our Director of Sales with reporting and ad hoc projects when required mainly on the MICE and Corporate segments
• You’ll ensure M&E 3rd party sites are up to date with latest content & imagery, as well as menus & other event marketing materials
• You’ll coordinate and execute M&E photoshoots together with marketing
What we're looking for:
• You have a previous work experience in proactive and reactive Sales.
• You’re a detail-oriented team player with a passion for hospitality and events.
• You’re confident and friendly when leading client show rounds and menu tastings as needed.
• You build strong client relationships, ensure a smooth event planning process, and encourage repeat business by consistently going the extra mile.
• Strong organizational and communication skills—both written and verbal.
• Experience with Opera Sales & Catering or similar systems is a plus.
• You’re able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with precision.
• You have a proactive mindset and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
