Main role and objectives:

As our  Senior Pastry Chef de Partie you will assist the Sous Chef and you will be responsible for contributing to production of the highest standard of breads and desserts which will be along the lines of the restaurant concept having a fresh, simple elegant approach, taking in to account that all produced goods are in line with margins and waste management You will co-ordinate and be responsible for the staff in your section. 

Your responsibilities:

  • Being in charge of preparing, cooking and presenting dishes within your speciality in your section
  • Assistance with development of new menus for A la carte restaurants, banqueting facilities & room service.
  • Assist with menu implementation
  • Prepare and bake desserts
  • Prepare and bake breads and ensure the breads have consistent quality and are prepared to set recipes.
  • Ensuring you and your team have high standards of food hygiene and follow the rules of health and safety
  • Monitoring portion and waste control to maintain profit margins

  • Someone with experience as a Senior Chef de Partie in a hotel or restaurant kitchen
  • An individual truly passionate about food with a proven track record of creating an inspirational dining experience
  • Someone who is great at creating and maintaining positive and productive working relationships across the business, communicating effectively in a range of situations
  • A Chef who is passionate about engaging, inspiring and taking ownership for the development of their team
