Main role and objectives:

Reporting to the Regional Credit Manager, the Sales Ledger Clerk will be responsible for the prompt preparation of invoices and credit notes, ensuring that all rates and prices are in line with contractual agreements and hotel pricing for PPHE Hotels UK.

 

Your responsibilities:

  • Ensure all invoices for individuals, groups and Meeting and Events are sent within agreed timeframes
  • Ensures that all prices and rates on the folios are correct against the back-up relating to them
  • Responsible for all inter-company invoicing
  • Assists in the preparation of month end reconciliation and in the final monthly closing of the accounts receivable system
  • Prepares reports as requested to develop a more informative database for improved management decision making and critical evaluation of work activities
  • Prepares all appropriate period closing reports and entries

 

What we are looking for:

  • Experience in a similar role within a high volume hotel or hospitality environment is preferable  
  • Strong organisational skills and a keen eye for detail
  • Knowledge of Excel, Opera and INFOR SUN would be an advantage
  • Someone who enjoys working in a fast paced and rapidly changing environment Someone who is great at creating and maintaining positive and productive working relationships across the business, communicating effectively in a range of situations
