Min-max contract of 3 days per week
You will be working every Tuesday and Thursday, in line with the laundry delivery days of Park Plaza Utrecht. Next to this, you will be working one additional day in tandem with the housekeeping manager– which is flexible!

We are looking for an All-round Housekeeper who is responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Keeping all guest areas and corridors neat and tidy (including stairwells and elevators).
  • Receives linen carts, stocks linen room shelves and maintains the cleanliness of all linen closets/rooms.
  • Tracks and stocks any necessary inventory and supplies
  • Delivers and picks up guest request items, (i.e. irons, ironing boards) amenities and VIP platters. This also includes making up and delivering cribs and sofa beds.
  • Assist the room attendants by removing the trash and soiled linen from the guest rooms.
  • Assist in moving beds and furniture as requested.
  • Offer assistance to guests and colleagues when requested or needed.
  • Identify and report preventative or other maintenance issues in public areas or guest rooms. Assist in basic maintenance issues in the rooms.
  • Assist in putting on bed skirts, turning mattresses, removing or hanging sheers and drapes.
  • Stand, sit, kneel, or walk for an extended period across an entire work shift.
  • Perform other reasonable job duties and assist as requested by the Housekeeping manager.

Ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous Housekeeping experience (preferred, but not required).
  • Must have a strong eye for detail and the ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to communicate in written and verbal form in English or Dutch.
