At Park Plaza Victoria of PPHE Hotel Group we are looking to recruit a Luggage Porter to take responsibility of increasing our customer satisfaction by providing personalized and courteous services and information to guests at the Concierge desk. 

Key tasks & responsibilities

Your tasks and responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:

  • Checks daily arrival lists and welcomes customers to the hotel
  • Maximises customer satisfaction and utilisation of hotel facilities by promoting hotel restaurants and other services to customers
  • Keeps up-to-date on all local events, sights, restaurants, activities, etc, in order to provide customers with necessary information and assistance
  • Keeps fully aware on hotel’s room availability, conference and banqueting events, and other events in the hotel
  • Maintains a supply of hotel brochures, local maps, restaurant menus and services
  • Arranges for special services requested by guests
  • Is fully aware of Par Plaza Hotel service concepts
  • Completes shift closing accurately
  • Communicates effectively with customers, colleagues, and supervisors
  • Demonstrates teamwork by co-operating and assisting Front Office colleagues as needed
  • Ensures that guest mail and messages are delivered promptly

We are currently looking for a dynamic individual with relevant experience in Concierge or similar roles within hotel environment. Knowledge of Opera would be beneficial. Outstanding organizational skills and the ability to use initiative are required. With a demonstrated track record of delivering outstanding customer service, you will be motivated to learn and grow, with a positive and progressive outlook. You will have excellent communication skills and strong customer service focus.
