Main role and objectives:

As our Income Auditor you are in charge of the maintaining all necessary income reports and journals by accurately auditing the daily revenues of the hotel, in accordance with hotel accounting and financial controls, and within the policies and procedures as outlined in SOP’s, hotel and corporate policies and guidelines, and the hotel’s business plan.


Your responsibilities:

  • Performs an audit of the daily night audit insuring its accuracy and completeness
  • Check daily revenue and settlement data to underlying records and prepare Daily Revenue Report on daily basis
  • Ensure that Cash, Credit Cards and  allowances are correctly authorized and  balanced with Opera on daily basis with any variance investigated and highlighted to line manager
  • Maintains filing systems for the daily information; registration cards, invoices, credit cards, Daily revenue checklist etc.
  • Prepares all appropriate period closing reports and entries
  • Monthly Outlet checks ( Float Checks, Open table checks ect)
  • Prepares reports as requested to develop a more informative database for improved management decision making and critical evaluation of work activities
  • Maintains a favourable working relationship with employees and colleagues to promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate
  • Ensures guest satisfaction by performing duties such as attending to their requests and inquiries courteously and promptly
  • Performs required duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner to achieve the overall objective of the position

  • Someone with previous experience within Finance department, preferably within a hotel environment
