  • Carry out manager on duty services
  • maintain the upkeep and appearance of the hotel lobby and entrance
  • maximizes customer satisfaction and utilization of hotel facilities by promoting hotel restaurants and other services to customers
  • provide creative and courteous assistance to guest when entering and leaving the hotel and delivery of high quality service and an optimal service orientation
  • arranges for special services requested by guests
  • to consistently offer professional, attentive and friendly service to our guests and colleagues alike
  • follow all art’otel amsterdam procedures to deliver outstanding service to our guests
  • carry out security tasks by overseeing incoming visitors.  Monitor unwanted visitors and take proper action, according to the art’otel guidelines
  • to ensure a high level of general knowledge of all departments within art’otel
  • Keeps self updated on all local events, sights, restaurants, activities etc., in order to provide customers with updated information, and assistance.
  • Maintains a supply of hotel brochures, local maps, restaurant menus and services.
  • Stays current with development in the hotel by reviewing the communication log book each shift; updates log book for next shift.
  • Arranges fulfillment of customer services by co-operating with bell staff, housekeeping, reservations and room service.
  • Completes shift closing accurately and communicates effectively with customers, colleagues, and supervisors.
  • Demonstrates teamwork by co-operating and assisting Front Office colleagues as needed.

Guest service

  • Proactively interact with our guests
  • To anticipate on guests’ needs wherever possible, and to take action to enhance guest satisfaction

The iconic and historic art’otel amsterdam, opened in October 2013, seamlessly fuses art and life in the very heart of cosmopolitan Amsterdam.
