Main role and objectives:

As a Front office trainee you'll create a warm welcome to your guests providing a courteous, efficient and smooth service. This will involve prompt checking in/out, listening carefully to connect with your guests and answering any queries they have on the city, hotel or local area to ensure they have the most enjoyable stay with us.


Job role responsibilities below:

  • Respond to guests requests for information about the hotel and its surroundings
  • Arrange fulfilment of customer services by supplying limited services in the following areas:
    -  concierge
    -  telephone services
    -  housekeeping
    -  reservations
    -  room Service
  • Demonstrate a working knowledge of all services and facilities of the hotel
  • Maintain a clean and tidy lobby, and performs light cleaning duties if required
  • Arrange special services requested by the guests
  • Monitor guests accounts and verifies accuracy of registration information
  • Complete shift closing accurately by getting appropriate approval signatures and authorization codes
  • Follow all  procedures to deliver outstanding service to our guests
  • Oversee that guest service is according to the PPHE context by creating an environment where everyone in the team is focused on ‘connecting’ with our guests
  • Ensure a high level of general knowledge of front office services, all items and speciality items offered at the front office

  • Team player
  • Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English
  • A positive attitude and passion for providing exceptional service
  • Ability to work with multiple stakeholders within and outside of the hotel
  • Energy, enthusiasm, creativity and an entrepreneurial spirit
  • The ability to inspire team to excel in creating the ultimate guest experience
