Your responsibilities as Assistant Meeting & Events Operations Manager will include:

  • To support the Meeting and Events Operations Manager in the smooth and efficient running of the Meeting & Events department
  • To co-ordinate events taking place within the meeting rooms, dealing with any issues or queries that clients may have and to ensure team members are briefed and any changes are communicated
  • Management of subordinate employees, work experience students and to demonstrate leadership by leading by example

We are looking for

The ideal Assistant Meeting & Events Operations Manager will:

- Deliver the recognised meetings journey for all clients to include Meet and greet, Health and Safety, Fire Procedures and Function sheet referrals

- Ensure the delivery of great product experience for Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

- Supervise the Team Leaders on adhering to the department procedure on cost control and waste management.

- Excellent customer service skills and is passionate about exceeding guest expectations

- Able to work in a fast paced working environment and remain calm under pressure

- Ensure all events equipment relating to food & beverage are in proper operational condition and cleaned on a regular basis.

- Have excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills and be able to connect with other live up to our mission statement: Inspiring our guests through individuality and passion!
