Main role and objectives:

As Assistant Front of House Manager at Park Plaza London Riverbank & Plaza on the River you will have a key position in the coordination of front of house operations which includes Concierge, Reception, Nights, and Guest Relations departments. The Assistant Front of House Manager is responsible for leading the Front of House team, driving guest satisfaction, maximizing revenue and cost control within all Front of House departments.

Your responsibilities:

  • Ensure smooth running of Front Of House departments on a day to day basis with effective communication within and between departments
  • Actively champion and promote guest satisfaction by encouraging the team to understand the guest journey and guest requirements. Providing feedback when required.
  • Supervise staffing levels to ensure that guest service, operational needs and financial objectives are met.
  • Understands the impact of department’s operations on the overall property financial goals and objectives and manages to achieve or exceed goals.
  • Assist with recruitment in all Front Of House departments, identify talent and improve retention across the Front of House departments.  
  • To have an active role in the promotion of Learning and Development in the departments

What we are looking for:

  • Previous managerial experience within a 4* hotel.
  • Someone who is able to provide direction and leadership to all team members.
  • Demonstrate an in depth knowledge of Opera of similar hotel management system.
  • Someone with High level of commercial awareness
  • Someone who has the ability to be flexible and adaptable in various situations
  • Someone who is great at creating and maintaining positive and productive working relationships across the business, communicating effectively in a range of situations
