At Park Plaza County Hall we’re seeking to recruit an Assistant Executive Housekeeper.

Key tasks & responsibilities:

  • Carry out skills training as requested from the Executive Housekeeper, to maintain the Hotel in the cleanest possible way and to provide a consistent and efficient Housekeeping service
  • Liaising with and procuring items and services from contractors and Agencies, whilst maintaining high standards
  • Working closely with the Head Housekeeper to ensure that the Housekeeping Department delivers its daily demands of high quality expected from the Park Plaza Hotels Brand Standards
  • Supervises the daily activities of the Housekeeping staff and ensure that duties are performed in accordance with departmental procedures and policies
  • Work alongside the Executive Housekeeper in implementing and formulating departmental procedures which will provide a prompt and efficient service to guests and other departments
  • Be fully conversant with accounting procedures necessary for the smooth running of the Housekeeping department and to liase and co-operate with the Finance Department as and when necessary
  • Actively drive projects by managing resources to achieve department to reach the hotel goals and targets

We are looking for

  • 1 or 2 years experience as an Assistant Executive Housekeeper or Housekeeping Manager or senior housekeeper in a 5*/4* properties for a similar size
  • Must have good spoken and written English skills
  • Must have Computer skills along with Microsoft office proficiency- preferable to know any property management system e.g. Opera 
  • Average Mathematical skills for understanding financing aspects of the department and business
  • Must experience handling guests requests and complaints
  • A leader who is passionate, enthusiastic and energetic and takes responsibilities as needed
  • A passionate team player who can motivate, engage, develop and appreciate the team
  • Adaptable and flexible in managing business changes and finding solutions to solve root level problems
