Main role and objectives:

As an Assistant Executive Housekeeper at Park Plaza Victoria London you will have a key position in ensuring the smooth running of the Housekeeping operations and helping our guests by providing inspirational service and ensure our guests receive a high quality, personalised service. You will drive the Housekeeping team to exceed our guests’ expectations and will bring new ideas to build memorable experiences for our guests.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring the highest standard of cleanliness is maintained at all times, excellent people skills and an eye for the smallest of detail.
  •  Supporting the Executive Housekeeper by representing the department when necessary.
  • Supervising the daily activities of the Housekeeping staff and ensure that duties are performed in accordance with departmental procedures and policies.
  • Working alongside the Executive Housekeeper in implementing and formulating departmental procedures which will provide a prompt and efficient service to guests and other departments.
  • Being aware of Housekeeping budgets, control of supplies and their cost effectiveness to the department, following this through with the Housekeeping team and assist in controlling them.
  • Working closely with the Executive Housekeeper to ensure that the Housekeeping Department delivers its daily demands of high quality expected from the Park Plaza Hotels Brand Standards

  • Someone with experience in Management/Supervisory Housekeeping in hotels
  • Someone with excellent customer service skills and is passionate about exceeding guest expectations
  • Someone who is able to work in a fast paced working environment and remain calm under pressure
  • A person who easily connects with others and can live up to our mission statement: Inspiring our guests through individuality and passion! 
  • Someone who is great at creating and maintaining positive and productive working relationships across the business, communicating effectively in a range of situations
  • Someone who enjoys working in a fast paced environment
  • Have excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills and be able to connect with other live up to our mission statement: Inspiring our guests through individuality and passion!
