Your responsibilities as an Accounts Payable Clerk will include:

- Be responsible for the administration of purchase invoices and preparation of payments to the company’s creditors, ensuring that all VAT rates and prices, general ledger codes and prices are correct

- Post all invoices promptly and prepare monthly payment runs per month ensuring all postings are correct

- Receive all POs and invoices ensuring they have all received the correct authorizations as advised by the Assistant Financial Controller and the Finance Director

- Ensures all invoices are posted into the system in time for the last day of each month and that they are billed and posted to the correct company

- Hold incorrect invoices communicating any differences or changes to the relevant manager in the hotel and to chase relevant supplier for credit notes

 

 

We are looking for

The ideal candidate for the role will:

- Have experience of working in a high volume Accounts Payable function

- Maintain a high level of accuracy & attention to detail at all times

- Have experience of using SUN accounts software desirable

- Have hospitality Finance experience

- Have experience of preparing month-end accruals

- Have experience of making supplier payments via an online banking system

- Be a team player

- Be confident in dealing with sensitive and complex matters in a discreet and prompt manner

- Be able to prioritise and manage a multi-faceted and changing workload

- Have excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills and be able to connect with other live up to our mission statement: Inspiring our guests through individuality and passion!
