Main role and objectives:

As an Accounts Payable Administrator, you will be part of the regional team and responsible for processing supplier invoices and liaising with suppliers & hotel colleagues to resolve queries and discrepancies for 6 hotels within The Netherlands.

Job role responsibilities:

  • Processing of supplier invoices accurately and on time
  • Creation of payment batches and monitors when accounts are due for payment & invoices have been settled
  • Ensures VAT and Foreign Invoices are processed accurately and in accordance with hotel policies & procedures
  • Completes regular supplier reconciliations to identify outstanding invoices and/or payments and ensure any discrepancies are investigated and resolved in timely manner
  • Complies with authorisation processes and segregation of duties
  • Communicates with suppliers and hotel colleagues in a timely & professional manner
  • Complies with the accounting practices and procedures as required by corporate policies and procedures, and generally accepted accounting practices
  • Achievement of agreed KPI targets
  • Identifying opportunities to improve the effectiveness & efficiency of existing processes and procedures
  • Perform related duties and special projects as assigned and required
  • Completion of duties in a timely and accurate manner
  • Supports the development and implementation of Group wide finance system & process change projects.

What we are looking for:

  • Open-minded, enthusiastic and a true team player
  • Hands on mentality
  • Good knowledge of Opera, Adaco and SUN is advantageous
  • Previous experience in a high volume Finance function (within a hotel or hospitality environment)
  • Someone who is service oriented, pro active and accurate
  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Good knowledge of Opera, Adaco and SUN is advantageous
  • Excellent written and verbal of English language (preferably also Dutch)
  • Experience is a changing business environment is preferred.
