Demi Chef de Partie

As a Florentine Demi Chef de Partie, you’ll extend your track record of creating great quality dishes and support the Head Chef in managing the efficient operations of the Kitchen department at our new all day dining concept restaurant and bar. You’ll work in a modern and prestigious environment where professional development is nurtured and great service is rewarded.

Florentine is an all-day dining restaurant and bar minutes from London South Bank’s trendy Lower Marsh and Waterloo, opposite Lambeth North tube station. Opened in Spring 2017, Florentine serves a Brasserie-style menu with a focus on flatbreads cooked in a wood-fired oven and our signature Ostrich egg dishes. Our bar features the best of British bubbles and craft beers as well as a range of superfood cocktails, with DJ sessions throughout the evenings and weekends for a refreshing, relaxed vibe.

Main tasks and responsibilities

  • To  contribute to the production of the highest possible food quality in the delegated section at all times
  • To perform all tasks to a consistent and correct standard as per manual and recipes. To ensure standardized recipes are in place and constantly up-dated. To ensure a complete knowledge by all staff and yourself of these recipes and that they are served to the correct standards.
  • To supervise all activities in conjunction with the Chef de Partie to maintain and improve productivity, food quality and service in accordance with the hotel’s budget and business goals
  • To ensure that the company Brand Standards are observed, trained, focused and assessed throughout the year
