Main role and objectives
As a Security Team Leader, you ensure the safety of guests, employees and the company and prevent any tangible or intangible damage to guests, employees and the company. You will also monitor the premises and building. Therefore you will take reasonable action in removing unwished guests, deal with calamities and conduct guests in emergency situations and audit colleagues. Furthermore you are responsible for welcoming, supervising and training new employees.

Job role responsibilities:
Lead the work performed by the employees in various shifts, 24 hours a day in the absence of the Security Manager
Maintaining order, rest and regularity at the hotel and the associated premises. Observe threatening situations and irregularities such as unwanted visitors, destruction, aggressive behaviour, improper visitors and responding to such a situation through adequate action and correct attitude. 
Ensure and monitor the safety of the guests and employees in cooperation with the Manager on Duty and Guest relations team.
Monitoring on a regular basis and at irregular times throughout the hotel and associated areas; Signalling, reporting and, at best, eliminating problems, (technical) malfunctions and calamities in any form.
Treating theft (theft declaration by guests, defaulters), collecting data, solving the problem as much as possible, e.g. by enabling the police; Handling suspicions of employee theft, random check of bags, etc., conducting internal inquiry, collecting evidence and reporting on this.
Ensuring optimum fire and burglary and theft prevention as well as taking care of accident prevention and providing first aid in case of accidents.
Monitoring compliance with the House Rules by staff and visitors.
Tracking administrative tools entrusted to the department. To that end, include: Performing control and management over the entire key file; Managing (valuable) found items
Welcoming, supervising and training new employees.
If applicable, maintain contacts with heads of departments and employees (regarding safety issues, complaints, suspicion), guests (regarding problems, complaints), visitors such as, for example, Suppliers (Security) External Security Services (Hiring) and External Authorities, such as Detection Services, Emergency Services (GG & GD, Fire Department, Police).

What we are looking for:
Flexibility; able to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends and bankholidays 
Guest- and service oriented
Good communication skills; preferably in Dutch and English
Ability to handle stressful situations. 
Experience in the security department in hospitality is preferred 
No objection to running duties.
Security certificate (Beveiliging niveau 2)
