At the Regional Office the Netherlands of PPHE Hotel Group we're looking to recruit a Revenue Manager. As Revenue Manager you are responsible for maximizing revenue delivery through most profitable channels, implementing agreed strategies and tactical positioning in accordance with market and trends, as well as managing key group business for the hotels. You are also responsible for analyzing and identifying trends and propose appropriate strategies and tactics to take advantage and to ensure that all members of the hotel teams are fully aware of pricing policies and any promotions.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the maximization of revenues into the hotels by monitoring, managing and maintaining group and transient inventories.
  • Manage the day to day running of the Revenue Management for the assigned number of properties.
  • Implement and fulfill the strategic defectiveness of the hotel.
  • Ensure effective optimization of rooms and M&E through accurate controlling of rates and inventory.
  • Prepare annual business plan for the hotels.
  • Identify risk and opportunities and record accurately in demand calendar for future use.
  • Take an energetic and active role in preparing and implementing annual Budgets.
  • Chair, minute and agenda weekly Revenue Meetings
  • Take responsibility for completion of Month End statistical templates within the set deadlines.
  • Review market trends (and action appropriate outputs where necessary) via Rate shop reports and STR reports on a daily basis.
  • To attain and retain an expert knowledge of Hotel systems , preferably knowledge of Opera, CEX, Extranets and RMSs.
  • Ensure high level on product knowledge of the hotel, the competitors and the local area, enabling you to sell them confidently. 

What we are looking for:

  • Graduated Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience in Revenue Management, preferably in a customer service related environment within Amsterdam
  • Experience of hotel operations / business support functions is preferred 
  • Drive for results
  • Ability to analyze data and trends 
  • Demonstrates strong communication and presentation skills in English, Dutch is preferred
  • Ability to build positive and productive working relationships and relate to a wide range of different people at different levels within the business
  • The ability to work in excel on an advanced level
  • The ability to work with tight deadlines
