We are currently looking for an enthusiastic Junior Bartender for our restaurant 5&33.

Main role:
Serve and entertain our guests in the bar, this includes advising the guests on beverage choices, taking orders, preparing and serving drinks to guests and handling the bill.


Responsibilities
  • Anticipate guest’s needs wherever possible and react to these to enhance guest’s satisfaction
  • Share guest feedback with your manager or supervisor on duty enabling us to further improve our services
  • Ensure guests are greeted politely and orders requested by the guests are served at the correct temperature within the correct time frame
  • Actively engage in your own personal development to benefit the business and improving your personal skills
  • Perform other above related activities commissioned by F&B Management

Primary duties
  • Consistently offer professional, attentive and friendly service to our guests and colleagues alike 
  • Serve guests in the bar, this includes advising the guests on beverage choices, taking orders, preparing and serving drinks to guests and handling the bill
  • Building a high level of specified knowledge regarding bar service techniques, all menu items, drinks and speciality items offered in the bar department
  • Learn & Follow all bar procedures to deliver outstanding service to our guests 
  • Prepare the mise en place 
  • Cleaning of the bar and working area after opening hours

Guest service
  • Ensure that guests receive the levels of service expected by creating an environment where everyone in the team is focused on connecting with our guests
  • Proactively interact with our guests and to build a connection
  • Anticipate on guests’ needs wherever possible, and to take action to enhance guest satisfaction

Health and safety
  • Exercise care, attention and caution in dealing with guests, colleagues and the property
  • Has basic knowledge of the hotel and the company’s security and health & safety procedures
  • Be aware of, and comply with, all relevant food safety acts
  • Learn to apply all HACCP rules for Food and Beverage
