Description of the Company:

PPHE Hotel Group leases, owns, operates, franchises and develops full-service upscale, upper upscale and lifestyle hotels in major gateway cities, regional centres and select resort destinations, predominantly within Europe, and is listed on the London Stock Exchange’s main market. We refer to our website, which contains further information on PPHE Hotel Group, including latest annual and investor reporting including company organisational structure.  The majority of the Group's hotels operate under the Park Plaza® Hotels & Resorts or art'otel® brands.

Main role and objectives:

As our Acquisitions & Development Associate you'll be responsible for supporting the sourcing, underwriting and negotiation of joint ventures, acquisitions, leases and management contract opportunities for PPHE’s global expansion plans.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Screen new development opportunities and carry out initial review as well as market research and response
  • Assist in the underwriting and feasibility for new projects
  • Originate and source joint venture, management and lease contracts
  • Support and maintain deal flow and pipeline
  • Exploit expansion opportunities by targeting both new and existing hotel and/or conversion from other real estate uses to hotel
  • Issuing of Non Disclosure Agreements and preparation of relevant correspondence eg offer letters
  • Preparation of information packs for internal and external stakeholders
  • Co-ordination and set up of conference calls, meetings and events for the Acquisitions & Development team
  • Other related duties as may be requested by the VP Acquisitions & Development, Acquisitions & Development Manager and/or CEO





  • Background in hotel real estate or in (hotel) business development in a service industry
  • Fluency in English is a essential, spoken and written - a 2nd language or more, is desirable
  • Be passionate about hotels and hotel real estate development with commercial and enterprise awareness
  • Excellent relationship building with company wide teams in multiple countries and external industry contacts
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and presentation skills, including the production of presentations
  • Good command of Excel, financial modelling and analytics including real estate transaction evaluation, cash flow modelling, IRR, calculation and finance structures
  • Desire to travel when required
