We have a number of different positions available in our housekeeping departments. For our management positions, you will be required to have experience in the area. Depending on the size of the hotel, the roles will differ, with our larger hotels requiring a dedicated Housekeeping Manager, while smaller hotels can have a Rooms Division Manager. Management jobs require both strong leadership and confidence, and you will need several years’ experience, increasing relative to the hotel size. As with all management positions, you will need to be comfortable managing team members from different cultures and levels of local language ability. Flexibility, adaptability and being able to connect with people are crucial characteristics.
There is a real pride in ensuring that public areas and guest rooms are always cleaned to the highest standards, earning the quality praise from guests we expect. Different opportunities for progression are available and we offer training to help to move you up in the business. You will need to be able to speak the local language, as well as English, but any additional spoken languages is highly beneficial.
